Day 74 Posadas

Posadas is a nice place to relax, with a very good climate. For some reason, each time that we crossed the border into Argentina, we felt like: it's good to be here! Nice pedestrian areas, great food, clean restaurants...

In the morning we walked around the city, here there are nice streets with cafés where people drink the "national beverage": mate. They drink it with a metal straw and here in the north it's cold. On the right is a replica of the typical cup and straw to drink the "mate".

The river front is very nice but between 1 and 5 p.m there are not too many people around. It's just too hot and everybody is having their Siesta.

Here is another example of spelling mistake. But in their own language and in an official sign, it doesn't give the same impression.... (for Spanish non-speakers it should be "niños")

We saw some old ferries that used to transport the trains...

It's funny to imagine that on the other side of the river it's another country!
