leaving everything behind

This is it! We're heading back to Germany, with a small detour down the Andes. I suppose I could say I have lost my roots, and am in need of more international encounters.... Maybe.... Or maybe an expatriate cannot "re-patriate" as long as he hasn't found the aim of his journey? Anyway, this backpacker trip might bring some answers.

This 10 months here in France have done us good, the sun and the ambiance of the south, the small French market right next to our flat, the friends we've made here, the friends that have come to visit us down here ... All that ... But we feel we've got to keep moving, keep searching for what we really want...and we kind of realised it's not here...we're gonna drive, we're gonna walk, we're gonna search, down the panamericana and up to Europe again, to see if we can find it...wanna come with us and help?
